Hi - i’ve been trying to figure out the name of a specific arcade game for ages now, none of my mates have been able to remember it, but i’m hoping it might ring a bell for some of the good folks on this forum. The vague details that i can remember are as follows…

A scrolling platform adventure game from around 1988-1989 (in the UK) where you control a kind of dwarf/wizard chap who can throw fireballs to kill enemies, which were all sorts of ghosts and monsters. It’s already sounding like Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins, but it had a lot more going on than that. Scrolled left to right as well as up/down at times, had about 8 levels, with bosses at the end of each. I think the main character had a kind of hooded cloak thing on, and you could collect different types of fireballs. Looking back, the whole thing had a kind of gothic japanese feel to it. Crikey, i’d love to play this game again!

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Cheers,
Rice
