I have a somewhat interesting problem with my PS3.

It all started when i first got it this year on christmas. it worked fine for a while, and ran Warhawk fine, but after about 2 weeks, i popped the Warhawk disk in, and it told me to download the new patch, (i think it was like 2.0 or something). So i did, restarted it, and the thing froze. i tried a few more times then quit and emailed sony tech support, which in turn told me to call their tech support line. I did, and after all the crap we went through, we found 4 slots of corrupt data in the saved files. so we tried to delete them, but as soon as we did one, the whole ps3 shut down and was unable to be revived (each time we started it up we got an error report that we couldnt go beyond). so we sent it back in, waited 2 weeks, and my new ps3 was here. i tried warhawk again, downloaded the patch, and the same thing happened. that was in february. i just now examined the 4 corrupt slots of data, and the only information was what time it was saved, and, to my astonishment, that they were, in fact, Half-Life 2 quick saves. Now im contemplating deleting them again. any ideas?

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift

NOTE: This is the second thread as the old one was’nt going well, so I managed to improve this.

The first MotorStorm game was a huge blast and the best brutal off-road racing game. From hotstreaking deserts to slippery muds. Now, the second game steps in and takes place into the tropical islands (hence the Lost movie reference) and gets even more intense. Here are the new features to this second awesome MotorStorm game:

*Destructible wooden buildings

*Interactive vegetation

*Lava pools (which heats up the engine)

*Water levels (cools down the engine heat and lets you boost longer, but small vehicles may reduce about of speed, so only trucks, mud pluggers and big rigs will go through)

*For the first time, Monster Trucks will plow through anything and crush anyone that gets in their way

*New photo mode lets you capture the moments and save them as many as you want

*Custom soundtracks lets you listen to your own musics, like other video game musics like this one)

*4 player offline multiplayer

*16 online multiplayer with Singstar

*New damage physics

*Wide variety of vehicles including returning ones

MGS4 Artwork

My friend was telling me about a page in July’s Game Informer that has some good artwork from Yoji Shinkawa. Can somebody post a good scan of just that picture please? Thanks.

My BIG question about the Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection. Free to All

My BIG question is, Does the MGS 3 Substance that comes with the 3 pack include the first two installments Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake as the original MGS 3:substance did? Im assuming it does but upon examining it, I havent seen it on the game. Do I have to beat the game in order to unlock these? I purchased the original release of MGS 3:Snake Eater and already completed it. I own all necessary MGS games besides Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, MGS 2 and 3 substance (Besides the ones in the 3 pack). I dont do the handheld installments. Sorry if that offends anyone. Can anyone PLEASE shed light on my Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, 3 pack situation? Id really apreciate it.
