TTCB fails at same spot on THE WAR episode

Hi all,

I am trying to bring back to my Tivo HD a recording of PBS’s The War. It’s the first episode which is 2.5 hours long. I transferred it to my PC under Tivo Desktop 2.5.1 and now I am trying to bring it back. But it always seems to stop at the same point after 1.5 hours. Since this recording originated on the Tivo, I’m at a loss as to what could be causing the bug at the 1.5 hour mark.

I’d appreciate any help or suggestions.

BTW, I did upgrade to 2.6 and found there to be many issues, so I downgraded back to 2.5.1.

Thanks in advance,

Rob from AZ

MRV Mystery- files not appearing?

Hey gang-

I am transferring as we speak several programs from my Series 2 to my Tivo HD. The Transfer dialogs went normally, and the Blue transfer light is on on the HD, but no programs- partial or complete- are appearing on the HD. Normally I would get the "transfer in progress" file icon on the Now Playing list on the receiving Tivo, but this isn’t happening.

What to check?

SNL 06/14/08: Mike Myers (new, and yet old)

So this was a little different … the SNL season is over, so I expected a Mike Myers clip show.

Which is was, except there were new bits in-between including a monologue and Myers plugging his new movie "The Love Guru." I particularly liked the "Mike meets the new cast members" mini-sketch.

So, was this really filmed in front of a live audience? Maybe they just grabbed some people off the street to film the new parts? I just don’t remember an SNL clip show having new "live" bits like this one did.

Series 2 DT TiVo with FIOS Switch to all-digital

Have been using S2 DT with FIOS with RF input directly from FIOS feed and A/V from a standard SD STB controlled thru serial port. Dual-tuner worked great as long as one channel was analog.

FIOS just switched to all-digital here (Northern NJ) and I’ve lost my dual tuner functionality as a result.

What’s the easiest way to regain DT capability? Should I get 2 free D/A converter boxes and control via IR blasters, or is there a better way? Will the free D/A boxes get my premium channels or only basic?

I’m sure other FIOS areas have been thru this transition and looking for experience-based solutions.
