I recently bought the Sony DAVHDX277WC. Being a newbie to the home theater system stuff, I figured I would get a system that was HDMI compatible and the wireless speakers was an added plus. I couldn’t find alot of info on this item before purchasing and have recently came across a thread about this being HDMI output only. With that being said, what would be the best way to setup my system for the best quality surround sound? I’ll have the Sony 46z4100, PS3 and DirecTV HDDVR. Will I have to set this up using optical cables? I had an older receiver that had digital optical connections, and was hoping to upgrade to get the quality of HDMI. Should I send it back or what?
