This Sunday, voters in Puerto Rico will head to the polls and cast their ballots in one of the final three primaries. Right now, Spanish speaking volunteers from across the country are making calls from the comfort of their home to voters in Puerto Rico. By doing so they are helping to ensure that all of our supporters have the information they need to cast their ballot and make their voice heard.

If you speak Spanish fluently, you can have a major impact on this crucial contest simply by picking up the phone. We’ve put together a list of potential supporters in Puerto Rico we need to reach before Sunday’s primary. No prior experience is necessary. We will provide you with some guidelines, a simple script in Spanish, and a list of phone numbers that only you will have access to.

With 55 delegates at stake in this contest, we need to do all we can to maximize our support. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staffers are working hard on the ground, but they can’t do it alone. We are just 45 delegates away from securing the nomination. Our online calling campaign to Puerto Rico just launched today, so every call you make gets us closer to that goal.

(Please note that some phone companies consider Puerto Rico an International Call and some do not, so you might want to check on the details on your own personal service plan before making calls.)

You can view Barack’s positions on many of the issues facing Puerto Ricans, and then log on to our online phonebanking tool and start making calls. The calls will run untill 9pm EST tonight, and resume at 9am EST tomorrow.
