Columbia, South Carolina
After a brief hiatus from the blogosphere, this half of the Olson twins is back and coming to you from the city of tomorrow’s big Republican Presidential Primary debate – Columbia, South Carolina.
The debate is being held at the Kroger Center and is hosted by the great Americans at the South Carolina Republican Party and Fox News.
Upon arrival, Dave Rexrode, McCain 2008’s National Coalitions Director, and I were greeted with sunny skies. The feel of a big event was in the air even at Dulles Airport in Washington, DC. On the flight were several reporters who are coming down to cover the debate, including CNN’s John King.
Over the next two days, I will provide the McCain blog fans with regular updates from the ground here in Columbia as Senator McCain’s team prepares for the second debate. Expectations are high after Senator McCain’s strong performance at the first debate out at the Reagan Library in California.
Also, please be sure to join us tomorrow night for another open forum on the blog during the debate, 9:00 PM eastern time and broadcast live on Fox News.
