Advice seeked on paper cutting
Hi there
I’m on a little project here where I need to cut a simple shape into a large number of paper cards, as shown on the poor doodle below:

I need to cut the two crescent-shaped slits (about 3cm - 2in long) at the precise same spot, so that I can insert another piece of paper into them, as shown on the bottom schema.
I tried to do this with a circle-cutter, which does a good job but it’s very tiresome for a large number of cards. What I would need would be some kind of die-cutting blades, but I wasn’t able to find blades of simple shapes like this. There only die-cutting solutions available seem to of fancy shapes for scrapbookers.
Does anyone knows of a place to find simple die-shaping blades?
Or does anyone has a suggestion on how can I make this? I tried doing the crescent slits with a wood gouge and a hammer, makes nice cuts but couldn’t find a gouge big enough for what I’m looking for.
And buying a digital cutter seems a bit overkill… plus, those things don’t run on macs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
