First of all, i want to thank all of you for your input in my other project, my “Arcade Coffee Table” is working great!

my new idea is to make a semi-portable “Laptop Arcade”
my plan is this:
buy a 7″ Portable Video Player for Ipods (theres one on sale for 20 after rebates) for the foldable screen and built in speakers.
take the neccessary parts (what are the neccessary parts?) from an old pc and put them under the video player, then put a laptop cooler under that.
connect a usb controller or two,

so is it possible to turn one of those portable screens into a monitor and speakers?
any other input/comments/warnings would be greatly appreciated, and naturally ill keep u all posted on my progress!
