I am running a DIY/Maker workshop at a week-long Youth Empowerment conference in early August and I need some help with creating a curriculum of projects.

I’ve noticed that in the maker circles there are several Iconic projects (jam jar jet, LED throwies, minty boost, etc.) but I’m wondering what you guys and gals think are sort of "fundamental" projects, things that teach important skills like soldering or stenciling, to get people started on DIY stuff. It’s a 7 day conference, hence "top 7."

Any help would be appreciated.
